Neues Altes Projekt Modulbausatz
Wer kann sich noch erinnern? Es ist jetzt schon eine ganze lange Weile her, dass ich hier über den Modulkasten in Spur N für Segmente und Dioramen und den ersten Modulbausatz für Spur N geschrieben hatte. Dieser Bausatz war nicht schlecht, konnte mich aber nach dem Aufbauen noch nicht zufrieden stellen. Die Abmaße waren noch nicht so, wie mein Auge sie gern gehabt hätte. Es war nicht stimmig. Die Konstruktion für die gebogene Rückwand war auch nicht ganz ausgereift und das Seitenprofil hatte in Bezug zur Kompatibilität mit unseren anderen Modulen seine Tücken. Deshalb habe ich den kompletten Bausatz überarbeitet und angepasst.
Herausgekommen ist jetzt ein Modulbausatz für die Modellbahn, der für mich aus heutiger Sicht gelungen ist und erst einmal alles bietet, was ich mir so vorgestellt habe. Dazu zählen:
- exakt geschnittene Bausatzteile (Lasercut)
- einfache Montage ohne Schraubverbindungen
- sehr stabile, möglichst verwindungssteife Konstruktion
- in sich abgeschlossenes Modul (Abschlüsse oben, unten)
- Möglichkeit der Montage von Bauteilen (z.B. LED Beleuchtung)
- Verbindung und Kompatibilität mit anderen Modulen
- Einbaumöglichkeit einer Rückwand (Hintergrundkulisse)
Montage Modulbausatz
Der Aufbau ging, wie erhofft, durch die gelaserten Bauteile aus 5 mm Sperrholz ohne Probleme. Die Eckwinkel gaben der Konstruktion schon einen guten Halt in Bezug auf die 90° in den Ecken. Da der verwendete Holzkaltleim recht schnell anzieht aber immer noch Korrekturen in einem Minutenzeitraum zulässt, kann alles vor dem Fixieren sehr gut ausgerichtet werden. Das Fixieren der Bauteile für die Trocknung des Leimes mache ich der Einfachheit halber mit Textilklebebeand. Das hat sich gut bewährt.

Who can still remember? It’s been quite a while now since I wrote here about the N scale module kit for segments and dioramas and the first module kit for N scale. This kit was not bad, but after building it, I was not yet satisfied. The dimensions were not yet as my eye would have liked them. It was not coherent. The design for the curved back wall was also not quite perfected and the side profile had its pitfalls in terms of compatibility with our other modules. Therefore I reworked and adapted the complete kit.
The result is now a module kit for the model railroad, which is successful for me from today’s point of view and first of all offers everything that I had imagined. These include:
- precisely cut kit parts (lasercut)
- easy assembly without screw connections
- very stable, torsionally stiff construction
- self-contained module (top and bottom terminations)
- possibility of mounting components (e.g. LED lighting)
- connection and compatibility with other modules
- possibility to install a back wall (background scenery)
Assembly module kit
The assembly went, as hoped, through the lasered components of 5 mm plywood without problems. The corner angles already gave the construction a good hold in relation to the 90° in the corners. Since the cold wood glue used tightens quite quickly but still allows corrections in a minute period, everything can be aligned very well before fixing. I do the fixing of the components for the drying of the glue for the sake of simplicity with textile adhesive tape. This has worked well for me.

ich bin Kurt, bin 77 Jahre alt, bin Jugendwart im MBC-Roth/Büchenbach, bin/war Informationselektronik-Techniker u. Elektroinstallationsmeister! Mein Anliegen:
Gibt es in den nächsten Monaten (keine Jahre) eventuell auch Module für Z-Spur?Ich fahre mit „Märklin miniclub“ , habe auch schon eine Anlage, jetzt aber würde ich gerne Modulbauweise basteln, um bei unseren Ausstellungen außer LGB u. H0 anlagen auch eine Z-Anlage mit austellen!

Wir können gern auch Module für die Spur Z fertigen. Dabei würden wir gern auf deine Wünsche eingehen. Also, wenn du uns deine Vorstellungen über Seitenprofile und Abmaße zukommen lassen möchtest, dann werden wir mal das CAD Programm anwerfen und einen Entwurf zeichnen.
