Damit ihr diese mal genauer unter die Lupe nehmen könnt, stellen wir sie in diesem Beitrag vor.
Modulkasten
Die Bausätze werden durch uns mit dem Laser geschnitten und als Bausatz in drei unterschiedlichen Längen ausgeliefert. Ihr bekommt also 9 bis 11 Einzelteile, welche zusammen gebaut werden müssen.

Modul Material / Beschreibung
Das verwendete Material ist Birkensperrholz in 5 mm Stärke. Bei den Längen 300 und 400 mm ist jeweils eine bzw. zwei innere Verstrebungen zu montieren. Diese machen den Modulkasten sehr stabil und verwindungssteif. Für die rechten Winkel der Ecken werden zusätzlich Hilfsecken verbaut. An den Seitenteilen befinden sich zwei 6 mm Bohrungen für die Verbindung der Module untereinander und eine 70 x 25 mm rechteckige Aussparung zum Anfassen und Durchführen von Leitungen etc..
Aufbau / Montage Modul

Ihr benötigt dafür Holzleim und Klebeband oder Schraubzwingen sowie ein paar Gewichte (Bücher) für den Deckel. Es besteht die Möglichkeit durch die vorgelaserten Löcher in den Ecken (Durchmesser 3 mm) dafür auch Schrauben zu verwenden.
Mehrere Module
Die Module sind an den Kopfteilen einfach mit zwei Schrauben mit den dafür vorgesehenen Löchern und zwei M6 Schrauben mit Muttern zu verbinden.
Damit ergibt sich bei der Größe der Module eine ausreichend fest Verbindung. Wir benutzen dafür Sechskantmuttern mit Flansch und Sperrverzahnung. Die Verzahnung greift in das Holz ein und führt schon bei handfester Verschraubung dazu, dass sich die Muttern manchmal nicht mehr von Hand lösen lassen.
Trassenbrett
Die Trassenbretter haben wir für unsere Module nach unseren Vorgaben aus 3 mm starkem Birkensperrholz gelasert. Für die zweigleisige Hauptstrecke ist dies 70 mm und für die eingleisige Strecke 35 mm breit. Auf dem Trassenbrett wurden mit dem Laser die absolute Mitte sowie die jeweiligen Gleismitten markiert.

Module box
The kits are cut by us with the laser and delivered as a kit in three different lengths. So you get 9 to 11 individual parts that have to be built together.

Module material / description
The material used is birch plywood with a thickness of 5 mm. For lengths of 300 and 400 mm, one or two inner struts must be installed. These make the module box very stable and torsion-resistant. Additional auxiliary corners are installed for the right angles of the corners. On the side parts there are two 6 mm holes for connecting the modules to each other and a 70 x 25 mm rectangular recess for gripping and leading through cables etc.

You need wood glue and tape or screw clamps as well as a few weights (books) for the lid. It is possible to use screws for this through the pre-lasered holes in the corners (diameter 3 mm).
Multiple modules
The modules are simply connected to the head parts with two screws with the holes provided and two M6 screws with nuts. With the size of the modules, this results in a sufficiently strong connection. We use hex nuts with flange and locking teeth for this. The toothing engages in the wood and, even if the screws are hand-tight, the nuts can sometimes no longer be loosened by hand.
Tray board
We lasered the routing boards for our modules from 3 mm thick birch plywood according to our specifications. This is 70 mm wide for the double-track main line and 35 mm wide for the single-track line. The absolute center and the respective track centers were marked on the alignment board with the laser.
